Honeycomb for
Amazon Web Services

Help DevOps teams discover the truth behind mysteries in your AWS apps.

Honeycomb for
Amazon Web Services

The Honeycomb Difference

Honeycomb helps engineering teams unearth hidden mysteries in their AWS infrastructure all while de-risking its complexity.

See how users experience your services

Adopting AWS increases speed and scalability, but it can also add complexity and unpredictability. Our extensive AWS integrations empower your teams to find answers, unearth hidden patterns, and resolve issues in seconds—helping you optimize performance and build incredible user experiences.

De-risk your AWS applications

DevOps teams using Honeycomb can de-risk and accelerate their adoption of AWS services with Honeycomb. Find issues before your customers do. Ensure big feature releases to production are routine and boring. Migrate live architecture components in your apps seamlessly, without impacting customer experience. And do that all while getting lower TCO for both your observability tools and your AWS infrastructure.

Available on the
AWS Marketplace

Purchase Honeycomb through the AWS Marketplace to make getting started with observability faster and easier by using the AWS Marketplace Standard Contract and AWS’ billing and EDP credits. See our marketplace page or explore a Marketplace Private Offer with our sales team.

By moving to Honeycomb and consolidating several tools, we saved 16% in total observability tooling costs and gained a substantially better user experience for our engineers in the process.

Lansweeper Case Study

With Honeycomb, we now have observability to drive continuous improvements. Good observability can almost ‘gamify’ development - it pushes us to continually improve the performance, reliability and overall experience of what we’re building.

Senior Platform Engineer, Lansweeper
Gearset Case Study

Honeycomb gives us the visibility we need to understand how long key operations are taking and can track when something is slower than usual. That means we proactively address performance and other issues that might have otherwise gone unnoticed - issues that would have affected customer experience without us ever knowing.

Software Developer, Gearset
HelloFresh Case Study

The shift toward an observability mindset allowed us to reduce the number of tools we use and it helped reduce cognitive load.

VP of Engineering, HelloFresh

Get started

Storing, querying, and correlating data across all of your AWS services is easy with Honeycomb. Learn more about how to get started.

AWS Lambda

An official AWS-managed OpenTelemetry Lambda layer lets you use OpenTelemetry in your Lambda functions. If you don’t use OpenTelemetry, Honeycomb has an extension that can run as a Lambda layer or inside a container alongside your Lambda function.

AWS EC2

Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) publishes metrics to CloudWatch. Using Honeycomb’s AWS integrations, you can send those metrics to Honeycomb.

AWS S3

Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) can be configured to publish logs and metrics about its own operations to CloudWatch. Using Honeycomb’s AWS integrations, you can send those logs and metrics to Honeycomb.
